Not all who wander are lost…

One of my favourite symbols in general along with arrows are definitely feathers. Arrows first but then definitely feathers. I love feather jewellery and I love feather tattoos. Especially feather tattoos because they are so strong but so fragile and delicate at the same time – and timeless…and you can get a feather tattoo on any spot without it looking wrong or out of place:

feather tattoo side rib

feather tattoo neck feather tattoo side feather tattoo shoulder feather tattoo ankle

feather tattoo back

feather tattoo arm feather tattoo white ink feather tattoo ear

Eagle feathers have great cultural and spiritual value to American Indians in the USA and First Nations peoples in Canada as religious objects. In the United States the religious use of eagle and hawk feathers are governed by the eagle feather law, a federal law limiting the possession of eagle feathers to certified and enrolled members of federally recognized Native American tribes. In South America, brews made from the feathers of condors are used in traditional medications. In India, feathers of the Indian Peacock have been used in traditional medicine for snakebite, infertility and coughs.
