Valentine’s Day gifts take #2

So I did the first round of gifts a few days ago – the gifts I personally thought were genuinely cute and a lovely gesture, no matter who they’re meant for…now we come to round #2 of Valentine’s Day gift ideas – uhmmm, of a slightly different budget perhaps? Just in case you’re perhaps a man together with one of those ladies who take Valentine’s Day extremely seriously and need something BIG to show their girlfriends as proof of your undying love for her…or maybe one of those ladies who need to drop hints to make sure you get that BIG proof of undying love in 2 weeks time? Here we go:

Princess 18-karat gold tourmaline heart ring from net-a-porter

For the super cheesy and uber-obvious demands – its gold, it’s a heart, it’s a ring, it’s rose-red, it costs £2,745 – if you want something that screams, literally YELLS “he loves me and he has no taste but a lot of money to spend on stuff we both don’t really like” – this is your baby!

white gold diamond cloud earrings by anoushka jewellery

Now here we have something entirely the opposite. No screaming, no yelling. Pure class and taste, romantic and feminine. Something almost too beautiful for a day as cheesy as Valentine’s Day – maybe more a Christmas/ Birthday/ Anniversary gift perhaps? Stunning, elegant, timeless, an absolute heirloom for generations to come – it also comes with a price tag of a sweet £6,300.

bottega veneta python skin shopper bag

Now for the reptile skin lovers (and don’t get me wrong, I most definitely am one myself) we have this python skin shopper bag straight off the runway by Bottega Veneta – now personally I believe in keeping the reptile skins limited to smalled surfaces like belts, gloves, wallets, shoes and perhaps an oversize clutch at the largest – but I’m sure there will be some who appreciate a fullsize shopper in python skin for a sweet £3,150?

exclusive red lace dress by issa on matches fashion

Buying a dress as a present can always be a tricky one – with sizes and fits and cuts and all that jazz, but if you do – red is the colour of love, lace makes any heart beat faster and any self-respecting fashionista won’t mind a bit of ISSA in her wardrobe, so this racy red lace dress for £1,118 should do the trick – and give/ get it before Valentine’s dinner and outfit is sorted as well?
