In India and all countries that love Bollywood – so basically anywhere between Malaysia and Morocco AND all South-Asian communities worldwide THE BIG baby news is super stunning Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and hubby Abhishek Bachchan expecting their first child! A big big congratulations and all the best to them! The due date is apparently set for November – she’s already 7 months in!
Of course, who better but the one and only Big B to break this news to the world? The news was broken by Ash’s father-in-law, potentially the biggest Bollywood actor of all times – actor and producer Amitabh Bachchan, who used nothing less than good ol’ Twitter to say: ‘NEWS NEWS NEWS!! I am going to become a grandfather. Aishwarya expecting… So happy and thrilled!!!’
Big up to Aishwarya at this point – thought I have always been the first to declare her one of the most beautiful woman in the world, I have also been a big critic accusing her of being very calculating and potentially one of the the most boring people the world ever witnessed – I must say homegirl has done well having her first child at the age of 37 – for Indian standards EXTREMELY old (add to this that she only got married on 2007 – which is amazing as well). She shows the rest of the South-Asian ladies there is no need to give in to an early marriage, no need to be bullied into giving up your own life to marry and have children – she has lived her life, made no sacrifice of her hugely succesful career and now is having her baby at a mature and wise age. Well done Ash – I definitely love you for this!
