Ever since my first declarations of public Tom Ford worship (which came long after non-public collections of every random magazine snippet containing a mere mention of his name and walls covered in ripped out magazine pictues of him – of which I always bought multiple copies of the same edition in case I fucked one copy up with the cutting and pasting) I do nothing to hide my love, adoration and admiration of and for this fabulous Texan designer who saved Gucci and catapulted them back into business while easily running Yves Saint Laurent on the side at the same time. Rumour has it that this God is currently also working on his first movie as director (oooh, I can’t wait!!)…but in the meantime we have White PAtchouli to soothe our senses and keep me calm…
Yes, I absolutely worship Tom Ford and grasp anything I could even remotely use as an excuse to blog about him and post more pictures of him with open hands – so we warmly welcome ‘White Patchouli’!
Ever since Black Orchid came out I’ve diligently, loyally, faithfully and lovingly given my body to it – perfume, toilette, shower gel and body lotion – all of them are Tom Ford’s delicious Black Orchid. Whenever I came across any in a store I had to manically and obsessively stock up on more ‘just in case I ran out’ (not very likely!)…so how excited am I that the brand new Tom Ford frangrance is headed into town?!
White Patchouli by Tom Ford – White Patchouli, which is a modern twist on the classic bohemian ingredient. It is mixed as a game of bergamot, jasmine, white flowers, patchouli, peony, rose, coriander and ambrette seed. The White Patchouli is available in a white glass bottle in three sizes: 30, 50 and 100ml edt, and as body lotion.
Ad campaign for this aroma was done in black and white by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. The face for Tom Ford’s new perfume is popular and exotic Grammy Award winning singer Erykah Badu known for her individual class and style. She is known for her neo-soul musical stylings and her absolutely unique fashion sense, the combination of Erykah Badu and Tom Ford should prove to be fantastic – and the amazing ads already look absolutely fabulous!
