Soooo, I’ve had training all day everyday for this whole week. Training week is now over and next week the real deal, the real working starts. I’m nervous and excited but training week has also reassured me that I’m fully versed in all the necessary basic knowledge so I should do sort of alright. There’s tons of new stuff though – technical stuff, platform related stuff I need to get used to, new tasks that I’d never covered so far etc. etc. but on the whole I think I should be able to cover most of it alright.
Next Monday is a bank holiday here so I have a long weekend ahead of me. I’m going to be moving in with Amelie on Saturday and then there’s apparently a birthday drinks thing on Sunday…tonight we’re going out for drinks locally just near home (in one of the million bars in and around Shoreditch) with a few friends maybe, just casual, nothing big.
