Soooo, today I had my first day at my new job! Ok yes, it is still training week but its already heavy though! This whole week is going to be spent in immersing myself in technical tracking methods, datafeed structuring, commission and payment models, media placements and sector analysis – does that sound like your idea of fun? Hmmm, well it is interesting though! And HA! once this week is over then the real shit starts when I get to apply all of this as best and as much as possible. Its a shitload of stuff though – already got a whole folder and four more well-over-a-hundred-pages manuals ‘zum verinnerlichen’ :( I can smell a zillion tons of work and many many hours of overtime coming my way but I’m very happy its started and it feels good, like a step in the right direction. Being free for 2 weeks was well enough and it feels good to be all into work mode again, my days of randomly exploring Shoreditch appear to have come to an end for now but that is all very well just so. I would choose being überfordert to being unterfordert anyday.

So to work I now either take the bus (direction Oxford Circus) to Drury Lane and walk a few hundred metres or I take the tube to Holborn Station (yes, where Amy Winehouse got busted a few days ago and I happened to be right there – on my way back from having my face threaded at a cosmetic studio - to see the paparazzi make a wild scramble and fall over each other with their cameras) and walk down three streets :)
